Ahmedabad-based cloud kitchen startup, BigSpoon has raised INR 100 crore funding in its Series A round led by IAN, NB Ventures, Go-Ventures, Lets Venture, Grip Invest, Anicut Capital and joined by celebrity investor Mouni Roy.
The company plans to utilize the fresh funds to expand to more than 250 kitchens in 75 cities across the country, add brands in top categories, hire for significant leadership positions, invest in technology for clients and backward integration for effective production and supply chain.

Bigspoon serves over 150,000 diners every month. With launches and expansion plans for the upcoming quarter, this number is expected to quadruple. By the end of this financial year, the startup aims to introduce two new brands and at least 150 new kitchens, the company claimed in a statement.
Founded in 2019 by Mathrani, Rohan Bhatt and Poojan Thakkar, Bigspoon offers a range of cuisines like North Indian Cuisine, Classic South Indian Thali Food and more. Its brands include Makhani Brothers, Oven & Grill and Meals 101.

According to the market report, India’s cloud kitchen market is projected to reach $2.5 billion by 2028, growing at a CAGR of 17.5 per cent from 2024 to 2028.
