Gurgaon-based Tech recruitment startup, Coffeee has raised INR 4.7 crore in a pre-Seed funding round. The round saw participation from Supermorpheus, Let’s Venture, Amit Lakhotia (founder, Park+), Kunal Shah (founder, Cred), Prabhu.R (founder, M2P), Renu Satti (ex-COO Payments, Paytm), Vikas Garg (CFO, Paytm), Patekk Agarwal (ex-Bharatpe, serial entrepreneur), Chinmaya Sharma (partner, InfoEdge), Rameez Menon (MD, Oxbridge Capital) and many others.
“Developer recruiting is the biggest challenge for all tech firms, and the only way to combat it is to increase the number of qualified workers from the grassroots, the engineering campuses. Coffeee.io aims to be the market with the largest pool of pre-screened developers in India for entry-level jobs, where merit and experience dominate. The startup creates a fair playing field in which all applicants have equal chances to be hired by leading companies by eliminating any stereotypes regarding college ranks and geography, among others, as per a company statement.
