Gurgaon-based Academic institution firm Sunstone has raised $35 million in a series C funding round led by WestBridge Capital along with participation from existing investor Alteria Capital.
Sunstone said in a statement that it expects to use the new funds to develop new programs with a focus on undergraduate tech programs. Moreover, the company did not disclose its valuation until the fresh round was inducted.

Previously, Sunstone raised $28 million in Series B funding from WestBridge in October 2021. Saama Capital and Alteria were also involved in the round. It had raised nearly $3 million in a series A financing round from some existing investors and a handful of individual investors before.
Founded in 2019 by Ashish Munjal and Piyush Nangru, Sunstone partners with academic institutions to prepare undergraduate and postgraduate students for careers. The firm has a presence in more than 35 cities and over 40 institutions, and it aims to expand it to 100 cities soon.
