Web3 startup Invisible Universe Bags $12 Mn in Series A

Globally: Invisible Universe today announced that the company has raised $12 million in Series A funding led by Seven Seven Six, the round with participation from Cosmic Venture Partners, Dapper Labs, Franklin Templeton, Gaingels, Initialized Capital, Schusterman Family Investments, Wheelhouse and Spencer Rascoff’s 75 & Sunny. Additionally, the star-studded cap table includes Serena Williams and Jennifer Aniston along with TCG, CASSIUS and Will Smith’s Dreamers VC.

Company used to fresh fund to launch new animated IP across social media and web3, expand the footprint to new platforms, and further monetize its existing suite of franchises.

Invisible Universe has raised a total of $12.2M in funding over 2 rounds. I.U raised $197K in first seed round in MAY 2022.

Founded in 2021 by Alexis Ohanian and Katelin Holloway.

Invisible Universe is an internet-first animation studio that develops and debuts original animated character IP on social media in partnership with high-profile celebrities, creatives, and influencers. Current partners include Serena Williams, Jennifer Aniston, the D’Amelio family, and more.
