Pravis, established by former founders Vishal Gupta and Prashant Sinha, has acquired a significant stake in adtech gaming platform StreamO. The venture is set to explore the business potential of the growing gaming sector, particularly in the Gen Z demographic.
StreamO, founded by Tushaar Garg and Ankit Bhatia in 2021, is at the forefront of connecting brands with gamers and their live viewers, reaching a vast network of over 20,000 gamers and a Gen-Z subscriber base exceeding 300 million. With global game video content on platforms like YouTube reaching 120 billion hours of viewership in 2022 and India’s consumption rates doubling the global average, the opportunities for brand engagement are untapped.
The new partnership with Pravis promises to strengthen StreamO’s leadership in connecting brands with the engaged GenZ gaming community.
“Gen-Z is a difficult audience to reach through traditional media, but gaming offers a never-before-seen opportunity to do so. We are uniquely positioned to take advantage of the rapidly expanding live gaming markets and the vibrant Gen Z communities they support thanks to StreamO. Co-founder of StreamO Vishal Gupta said, “We are thrilled to collaborate with Tushaar on this adventure as he is one of the thought leaders in the Indian gaming market.”
Vishal Gupta and Prashant Sinha, co-founders of Pravis, plan to use their expertise from developing internet goods and influencer relationships to move the gaming industry forward after their exit from Momspresso to Honasa (MamaEarth).
StreamO claims to have established successful collaborations with top brands including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Intel, Sony PlayStation, OnePlus, Hero, Crocs, Taco Bell and Spotify, fostering more than 100 significant brand engagements
