Home Furnishing startup, Vaaree has raised an undisclosed amount in pre-Seed funding from marquee investors which includes Kunal Shah (founder, CRED), Ghazal Alagh (co-founder, Mamaearth), Vineeta Singh (co-founder, SUGAR Cosmetics), Varun Dua and Ruchi Deepak (co-founders, Acko), Arjun Vaidya (founder, Dr Vaidya’s), Manish Duggar (CFO, Mphasis), Rohit M A (founder, Cloudnine), Anjali Bansal (founder, Avana Capital) among others.
The Vaaree aim to add on more USP, build a strong team and invest in marketing to build a brand.
“We have the vision to beautify all homes at affordable prices. and theme our website so that a customer does not have to mix and match. We present products according to a particular theme for easy shopping. With the initial funding we want to add more categories, build a stronger team and invest in branding,” Garima and Pranav, founders said in a joint statement.
Currently focusing on building its network of personally vetted and certified, ethical manufacturers and also on logistics and supply chain capability. A statement by the company claimed that the brand currently has over 2000 SKUs across multiple categories, including bedsheets, cushion covers, dining, kitchen and bath.
Founded in 2022 by Garima Luthra and Pranav Arora, Vaaree is a curated marketplace for home furnishings that aims to bridge a gap in the Indian home market. The company focuses on providing high-quality home furnishing goods, from local manufacturers and artisans, directly to the end consumer, at an affordable price.
