Former Shark Tank India judge and BharatPe Co-founders Ashneer Grover and Aseem Ghavri have launched ZeroPe, a new fintech app focused on medical bill payments. currently in its testing phase, has been developed by Grover’s venture, Third Unicorn, as listed on the Google Playstore.
The ZeroPe app, in collaboration with Delhi-based non-banking financial company (NBFC), Mukut Finvest, will provide immediate pre-approval medical loans up to Rs 5 lakh. The ZeroPe app website states that the service is only available at affiliated hospitals.

Founded in January 2023 by Ashneer Grover, Madhuri Jain Grover, and Chandigarh-based entrepreneur Aseem Ghavri, Third Unicorn initially ventured into fantasy gaming with CrickPe. The company secured $3.5 million in a seed round, with ZNL Growth Fund, Vivek Ventures Investments, and Rishaayu LLP leading the investment.
Grover’s ZeroPe intends to enter the healthcare finance sector, which is expected to generate $5 billion, with an eye toward the rapidly expanding digital healthcare market in India, which is expected to generate $37 billion in sales by 2030. This is in line with the larger trend of digital-first firms that aim to offer data-driven medical loans for a range of healthcare requirements, including home care, chronic care management, and hospitalization.
