The Co-founder and MD of BharatPe, Ashneer Grover, and his wife Madhuri Jain, are preparing to launch the fantasy sports app CrickPe. According to Entrackr, he will launch the new app through his company Third Unicorn.
The report stated that the company (Third Unicorn) was working on the app for the past four months and has decided to launch it in the upcoming weeks.
The app has reportedly been in closed beta mode and will soon open to the public.
After being originally announced in July 2022 for seven months, Ashneer’s CrickPe was registered on July 6 with the Registry of Companies (RoC).
Grover published a LinkedIn post last month detailing the Third Unicorn and its aspirations to “get some stuff done in 2023.” The article indicated that the new business won’t have an unneeded board of directors or use any VC funding. The post went on to say that the company would only hire up to 50 people and that after five years, each employee would receive a Mercedes.

The start-up features Aseem Ghavri as a co-founder and a small staff, according to the Third Unicorn Linked Page. The page’s bio states: “upcoming TODU-FODU thing Building a firm that will change the market quietly and peacefully. The million-dollar question is still how to rest!”
Ashneer Grover first appeared in Shark Tank Season 1 as one of the sharks, and ever since, he has hardly left the public eye. His highly publicised altercation with the BharatPe board prior to his ejection was the topic of conversation after the reality show. He recently made his writing debut with “Doglapan: The Brutal Truth about Life and Start-Ups.”
